Registry Bliss

I have to admit it, although Ralph and I prefer cash for a wedding gift, I went crazy when I found out about MyRegistry.com. I'm not into stereotyping or anything, but all the women I know love to shop, and if they don't, it's because they can't afford to.

Nonetheless, it's 2007 and the traditional registry path to go to one store, take the hand held "add it to your registry" zapper thing, held absolutely no appeal for me. So, I googled wedding registries and came up with Macy's, Target, Sears, William and Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc. But my life isn't in any of those stores all at once.

I have been married before, have a 10 year old and my own place. Ralph and I both have our own stuff. Do we really want formal china, another toaster, how many silver-plated picture frames or albums? (Okay, we do want the blender on the registry list, click here.) So what is a bride-to-be to do?

Well, this B2B found bliss. Register for almost anything, almost anywhere at www.myregistry.com. I'm sharing this experience because it is truly a global mall. The site isn't just for wedding registries - but for baby showers, graduations, Christmas lists! You name it, if it's a gift coming your way, you can set up a registry.

Those visiting the registry will recognize many stores, and will find many new ones. We are always thinking about the perfect gift to give someone we care about, and at myregistry.com, the store finder is endless! So visit, browse, register for something, buy something for someone or just find something nice for yourself.

I guarantee you'll love it!
